সমস্যাটা স্পষ্ট, তাই পরীক্ষক শোনেন আপনি পরিস্থিতি কীভাবে বর্ণনা করেন, অপেক্ষার জন্য past continuous কীভাবে ব্যবহার করেন (“we were sitting, the cars were barely moving”), আর শেষের “how you felt” লাইন “I was angry”-এর বাইরে যায় কি না।

| bumper to bumper | গাড়ি এত কাছাকাছি যে প্রায় নড়ছে না | The cars were bumper to bumper for miles. |

| a bottleneck | সংকীর্ণ জায়গা, যেখানে যানবাহন ধীর হয়ে যায় | The bridge was a bottleneck, as always. |

| a diversion | স্বাভাবিক পথ বন্ধ থাকলে ব্যবহার করা ভিন্ন পথ | A sign sent us on a long diversion through a village. |

Band 6
I want to talk about a time when I stuckরূপের ভুল: সঠিক হবে “was stuck” in a very long traffic jam last winter. My family and I were driving home from the mountains on a Sunday evening. My parents were in the front, and my younger brother Bobur and I were in the back. At first the road was fine, but after one hour we seeটেন্সের ভুল: সঠিক হবে “saw” red lights everywhere, and the cars wasকর্তা ও ক্রিয়ার অমিল: সঠিক হবে “were” not moving. There was only one road, so there was no other way. We waited for almost three hours. At first my father was very angryসাধারণ শব্দ; Lexical Resource-এর স্কোর আটকে রাখে and kept looking at his watch, but after some time he stopped and turned on some music. We ate the snacks my mother had prepared and played word games, and Bobur kept making jokes about the drivers in front of us. Some people from other cars getটেন্সের ভুল: সঠিক হবে “got” out and stood on the road to talk. When we finally arrived home it was almost midnight, and I was tired. I felt annoyed in the beginning, but at the end I was laughরূপের ভুল: সঠিক হবে “was laughing” with my brother, so I think it became a funny memory for us.
Band 7
I’d like to talk about a time I got stuck in a very long traffic jam last winter. My family and I were driving home from the mountains on a Sunday evening, with my parents in the front and my younger brother Bobur and me in the back. At first the road was clear, but after an hour we saw a line of red lights, and the cars were barely movingধীর যানজট বোঝানোর স্বাভাবিক প্রকাশ. There was only one road, so there was no way round it, and we waited almost three hours. At first my father was clearly losing patienceনিখুঁত কলোকেশন and kept checking his watch, but eventually he gave up and put some music on. We shared the snacks my mother had packed and played word games, and Bobur kept joking about the drivers in front of us, while a few people from other cars got out and stood chatting on the roadparticiple phrase We got home close to midnight, exhausted. To be honest, I was annoyed at the startdiscourse marker (বক্তব্যের গতিপথ বোঝানো শব্দ) খোলামেলা ভাবনা শুরু করে, but by the end I was laughরূপের ভুল: সঠিক হবে “was laughing” with my brother, so it ended up being a funny memory.

- ব্যান্ড 6-এর রূপ ও টেন্সের ভুলগুলো (“I stuck”, “we see”, “the cars was”) ব্যান্ড 7-এ নির্ভুল, যেখানে নিজের একটি ভুল (“was laugh”) থেকে গেছে, আর ব্যান্ড 8-এ কোনো ভুল নেই।
- ব্যান্ড 6 বলেছে “very angry”; ব্যান্ড 7 ব্যবহার করেছে “clearly losing patience”; ব্যান্ড 8 তা রেখে বাক্যের গঠনে আরও বৈচিত্র্য এনেছে, যেমন “what began as an irritating delay turned into”।
- একই গল্পে “we waited”-এর পর “we are waiting”-এর মতো past tense থেকে present tense-এ পিছলে যাওয়া।
- পরীক্ষা বা ফ্লাইটের জন্য দেরি করার গল্প বলা এবং “what you did while you waited” পয়েন্ট ভুলে যাওয়া।
- What causes traffic jams in big cities?
- Do you think public transport is a good solution to heavy traffic?
- Should cities limit the number of private cars in the centre?
- How does heavy traffic affect people's health and daily lives?
- Do you think roads will be less crowded in the future?
